IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING THE PROPERTY OR USING THE ARCHERY COURSE
This Waiver and Release of Liability (“Agreement”) is entered into by the undersigned participant (“Participant”) in favor of Doug Albert, the landowner, and Archery for a Cause, its organizers, volunteers, agents, and affiliates (collectively, “Released Parties”).

1. Assumption of Risk:
I understand that participating in archery activities, including but not limited to use of 3D targets, walking trails, and outdoor terrain, involves inherent risks including serious injury or death. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, including those arising from natural hazards, uneven terrain, equipment failure, or the actions of other participants.

2. Release of Liability:
In consideration for being allowed to access the property located on land owned by Doug Albert and participate in “Archery for a Cause,” I hereby release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or connected with my participation or presence on the property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

3. Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties against any liability, claims, or costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising from my acts or omissions while on the property.

4. Property Rules:
I agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions posted or communicated by course officials. I will not bring firearms, alcohol, or unauthorized vehicles onto the property. I will respect the natural environment and private property boundaries.

5. Medical and Emergency Care:
I understand that medical services may not be readily available on site. I certify that I am physically fit to participate and have no condition that would prevent safe participation.

6. Photography & Media Release (optional):
I grant permission for photographs or video of me taken during participation to be used for promotional purposes by “Archery for a Cause.”

7. Minors:
If signing for a minor under the age of 18, I affirm I am the parent or legal guardian and accept the above terms on their behalf.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this waiver and release.
